Malia Wagner is a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist (CF-SLP) at Innovative Therapy Services in Santa Clara, CA. She earned a BA from the University of Minnesota and an MS in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University. Her pediatric experience spans outpatient rehabilitation, private practice, and school settings. She has delivered family-centered care to infants and children with complex neurologic, feeding and swallowing, and upper airway disorders, working alongside physicians, dietitians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. She has also supported K–2 students with articulation, language, fluency, social pragmatics, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), developed IEP goals, and provided bilingual translation for families. As a research assistant at the University of Minnesota, she contributed to studies of bilingual Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and NIH-funded research on attention and executive functioning. Her specialties include:

·        Early speech and language development

·        Bilingual assessment and therapy in Spanish and English

·        AAC support

·        Play-based pediatric therapy centered on children and families

Outside of work, Malia enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and conducting research.
